POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Membership is responsible for the overall membership recruitment and retention efforts of the NCBA.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Must be detail-oriented, adaptable to different working environments, able to make quick decisions and be flexible with sudden change. Management and data analysis experience preferred.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports To: Senior Director of Membership Experience
FLSA STATUS: Full Time / Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement and evaluate membership growth and retention strategies.
- Design and implement recruitment and retention campaigns and communications.
- Aggregate, maintain and interpret statistical data to drive strategy execution and adjustment.
- Adopt and maintain necessary data reports and tracking tools to drive strategy execution.
- Plan, coordinate and attend member socials and events consistent with growth and retention strategies.
- Oversee adoption of discrete non-member services and offerings.
- Act as staff liaison to the NCBA Membership and Membership Engagement Committees.
- Establish member benefits and services to include affinity program partners.
- Coordinate and work cross functionally to ensure that membership policies and procedures are enacted in a manner that is responsive to member needs.
- Speak and present at internal and external events as necessary.
This job operates in a professional office environment.
