Description

Established firm (located in downtown Raleigh, NC) with thriving civil and criminal practice looking to add a motivated civil litigation associate to become part of the firm’s civil team and assist with the civil section’s current caseload and expanding and varied practice which includes litigation involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights violations, contract and business litigation, real estate disputes, defamation, medical malpractice, and more.  

For this position, the firm is looking for licensed attorney who:

•         Is self-motivated and has strong organizational and communication skills;
•         Has strong writing and research skills;
•         Is willing and able to assist in all aspects of civil litigation including in-take, client consultations, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion hearings, mediations, trials and appeals; 
•         Is able to work independently as necessary but also collaboratively on larger matters; and
•         Enjoys appearing in court.

Requirements

2-3 yrs. experience in civil litigation preferred
