We are seeking a talented and motivated Contract Attorney to join our class action practice on a flexible, part-time basis. You will work directly with our trial attorneys on active class action cases, contributing to all phases of litigation with a particular focus on discovery management and legal research and writing.
This is the kind of work that keeps a lawyer sharp — nuanced legal questions, voluminous records that require a careful eye, and briefs that need to be both analytically sound and compellingly written.
What You'll Do
- Review, analyze, and organize discovery materials, including documents, deposition transcripts, and other case records
- Conduct thorough legal research on substantive and procedural issues arising in complex class action litigation
- Draft and edit briefs, motions, memoranda, and other legal filings
- Collaborate with lead attorneys to develop case strategy and identify key legal arguments
- Help maintain organized, well-documented case files and research memos
The Details
Engagement Independent contractor
Hours 20–40 hours per week, flexible scheduling

Why This Role
The cases on our docket aren't run-of-the-mill. They are class actions with real stakes for real people — the kind of litigation that makes a difference. If you are a licensed attorney who thrives on substantive legal work, values flexibility, and wants to contribute to important public interest litigation without the demands of a traditional full-time associate role, this position is worth a serious look.
