Litigation support attorney for owner of firm. The attorney must communicate with the client and primary attorney about all aspects of the case.
The attorney will need to understand the facts, procedural status and goals of each client's case.
The attorney will need to prepare family law documents. This will include the required documents by Wake County's Local Rules, including completing a listing of assets and debts on the Equitable Distribution Inventory Affidavits and Financial Affidavit form required by the local rules.
The attorney will draft pleadings, Orders from hearings or settlement, and draft discovery.
Those documents will be reviewed by the attorney managing the case.
Communicate with judge's clerks to schedule matters for hearing.
The attorney will assist in management of project management, discovery, calendar management for the attorney and the case.
The attorney will help facilitate communications between the client and primary attorney.
The position allows for off-site work commensurate with the ability to perform excellent work and have excellent communication skills with the clients and the attorney as well as have projects completed prior to court deadlines.
The attorney must have 2 years of experience.
The position is expected to average 15 hours per week with more time per week as needed for larger projects.
The compensation is hourly between $80-225 per hour - DOE.
