WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Associate Attorney provides comprehensive legal representation across all firm practice areas, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and related matters. Working collaboratively with experienced attorneys and supported by a skilled operational team under the guidance of a managing attorney, this role offers the opportunity to develop a well-rounded legal skill set.
As an Associate Attorney You Will:
- Represent financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings
- Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence
- Attend court hearings in person and virtually
- Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff
- Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice
QUALIFICATIONS:
What You Bring:
- Licensed in North Carolina
- 0-4 years of experience (all qualified applicants considered)
- Foreclosure, Bankruptcy or Collections experience preferred
- Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and driven
- Tech-forward mindset
- Candidates with multi-state licensure, admission to practice in Federal/Bankruptcy Court and/or Collections experience a plus
ADDITIONAL DETAIL:
Location & Travel:
- Location: Office in Charlotte, NC Remote/Hybrid options available (Hybrid: option to work partially remote and partially from Charlotte office)
- Travel: Local court-related travel required
Conditions of Work:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to remain focused for extended periods
- Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
- Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for positions (Typing, clicking, swiveling)
