Caudle & Spears, P.A., is seeking a talented attorney to join our team as a litigation associate. Caudle & Spears combines small-firm values with a high-level litigation practice that includes business, construction, employment, and insurance litigation. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn from experienced mentors, work well in a collaborative environment, and relish opportunities to exercise independent judgment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential. Salary based on experience, plus non-discretionary and discretionary bonuses and a generous benefits package.

1,650 billable hours minimum. 

Ideal candidates will possess:

•          A North Carolina law license (South Carolina licensure is a plus);
•          A minimum of two years of relevant litigation experience;
•          Exceptional writing, research, and communication abilities;
•          Strong time management skills;
•          A detail-oriented mindset;
•          A collaborative attitude;
•          The ability to appropriately manage multiple projects;
•          The desire and ability to take the lead on litigation matters and work them appropriately with limited oversight;
•          Experience handling litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and briefs and preparing for and handling depositions, motion hearings, and mediations; and
•          Experience in state superior court, federal court, and the North Carolina Business Court.
