Overview

Josiah Knapp Law, PC is a growing, multi-state law firm with offices in Philadelphia and New York and expansion underway into Florida. We represent businesses nationwide, with a strong focus on litigation across New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and soon Florida.

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience, licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, to join our downtown Philadelphia (Center City) office. This is a dynamic role offering immediate responsibility for on-going litigation with meaningful courtroom exposure, in a performance-driven environment.

Our team is highly collaborative and operates best with attorneys working together in-office five days per week, while maintaining flexibility for personal needs and life demands.

What You’ll Do

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Draft, file, and argue motions in state courts
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and proceedings
• Lead all phases of discovery, including depositions
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs and memoranda
• Negotiate settlements and drive efficient case resolution
• Manage a caseload with autonomy and accountability
• Partner with attorneys and staff to deliver strong client outcomes

What You Bring

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in NJ and PA (required)
• 3+ years of litigation experience (required)
• Strong courtroom presence and motion practice experience
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Organizational skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Professional, confident, and client-facing demeanor
• Interest in expanding into additional practice areas
• Authorized to work in the US

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Annual profit-sharing bonus tied to firm performance
• Health insurance (firm covers 50% of individual premium)
• 401(k) with employer match
